The seals, as a certain legal effectiveness of identity authentication methods, are widely used in financial, finance, safety certification, and in people’s everyday life. Seals shape varied, government agencies must use circular seal, no level of unit using a circular seal, only with a minimum diameter of circular seal. In addition to government agencies and other units to use the shape of the official seal is not limited. Internationally, most of the countries or regions use elliptical official seal. Elliptical chapter in the domestic many chapters for the invoice, contract, chapter also seen the individual and industrial and commercial door, etc; Diamond chapter mostly in-house JianYanZhang, classification, etc.; Chapter parties some also can be used as a corporate finance, but mostly used as of right; Bank is very broad, with chapter seal is round, chapters accept is circular, the business has a triangle and square.With the development of the research and application of image processing and artificial intelligence, artificial identification was carried out on the seals can’t satisfy the requirement of people more and more, therefore, using computer technology to the seal automatic identification research is imminent. Therefore, in order to improve the recognition rate of the seal, this paper puts forward to the correction registration seal. The main work of this paper includes the following aspects:(1) This article mainly introduced the relevant theoretical basis, including an overview of SIFT feature points extraction and triangulation, and draw out the definition of Delaunay triangulation. Introduce the template seal image and for the correction of the seal image to extract the feature points.(2) It mainly introduces the use of image feature points are generated template seal image and for the correction of the seal image of Delaunay triangulation, by extracting the seal image of SIFT feature points and DT triangulation, the space position of similar feature points according to certain rules to get the DT triangular mesh, and based on the grid to find similar triangles, determine the reference points for, according to the reference point corresponding edges are two seals image correct posture, so as to realize the seal correction.(3) The correction of seals based on SIFT and Delaunay triangulation algorithm for validation, mainly divided into round and signet of square seal imprint verification. Matlab programming to realize the algorithm, completed a seals automatic correction system based on DT grid, mainly including the seal of the SIFT feature point extraction, Delaunay triangular mesh based, similarity matching of similar triangle and four seal position calibration function, system debugging and running, has passed the normal operation.Based on people’s expectations of computer automatic seals correction, calibration algorithm designed in this paper based on the existing seal system design implementation, took a step toward practical application, but because of the limitations of the existing algorithms, this system also can’t really used in social production and living, still exists many defects and deficiencies, in future studies are needed.
