With the fourth generation mobile communication technology being commercial worldwide successfully, Mobile technology advances, the fifth generation mobile communication systems will also be available in the near future. LTE uses both orthogonal frequency division multiplexing and MIMO technology to improve system throughput as well as spectrum efficiency, and reduce operating costs, which makes LTE rapidly commercialized in the global communications market. In addition, the channel estimation algorithm in special circumstances and conditions is increasingly important, and take a major role in improving the performance of LTE system.The introduction of the large number of picocell with macro base station based homogeneous network can significantly improve system capacity, but the chip computing power of picocell base stations are often not as good as the macro base station, according to the specific conditions of the chip, optimizing the traditional channel estimation algorithms becomes a urgent need. LTE uses orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system, its compact design makes LTE system very sensitive to carrier frequency offset, in multi-user conditions, mutual interference between user devices resulting in poor performance of conventional frequency estimation, degrade system performance, how to overcome the interference of the user equipment, accurate channel estimation is a topic worth exploring. Improve the communication quality of users moving at high speed is becoming a basic demand of fast-paced society, time domain selective fading generated by high-speed movement seriously distort the signal, the need to design a channel estimation algorithm under high-speed moving situation becomes more prominent.In this paper, three channel estimation algorithms are respectively proposed for three special circumstances in TDD-LTE uplink including picocell, multi-user frequency offset and high-speed moving situation. Design, implement and simulate algorithms. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm in these three corresponding environments enhance the original performance.
