With the application of a wide range of electronic products into all fields of people’s living life, some visual problems such as myopia and strabismus are become common eye diseases which would effect the development of visual function in children and adolescents. The incidence of myopia and oblique in children and adolescents is increasing year by year. It was found that those who were not wear the glasses in time to ensure the normal development of the retina, would have the risk of amblyopic. Carrying out the census of the visual function of children and adolescents effectively will provide help for the diagnosis of myopia and strabismus. Early intervention can significantly improve the treatment effect. However,children and adolescents are not cooperating with doctor, and the detection means are cumbersome. This article based on the study of using the image collecting by eccentric photography optometry collection. And the myopia strabismus screening method based on image processing. Using matlab development environment to establish an eye pupil image processing algorithms library. The algorithms library contains: eye pupil image preprocessing,myopic eye pupil image processing, cross-eye pupil image processing, etc.Because of image contains noise, pupil image preprocessing will be need. The image processing methods include four steps: 1. Extract the single channel component in the image.Using the right channel to components extraction to improve eye pupil image clarity; 2. Filter processing to eliminate the noise in the eye pupil image; 3. Broadening eye pupil image contrast to highlight the characteristic parameters of the pupils; 4. Edge detection processing eye pupil image to highlight the image edge information. After dealing with myopia and cross-eye pupil image, Hough transform method is adopted to improve the pupil detection and feature extraction of corneal reflection of light. Accurate positioning of the cornea reflected light spot and the pupil. Get the pupil curve and corneal reflection characteristic parameters of spot data. Get the pupil relative offset distance and the ratio of myopia crescent light area and pupil area. Screen eye disease by myopia strabismus characteristic parameters from the computer.This paper use the clients’ eye pupil image from Liaoning ho eye hospital disease screening system as the experimental object. Through the analysis of the eye pupil images to find screeningmethod of myopia and strabismus. Verify the validity of this screening method of myopia and strabismus with mass data. The experimental results show that: Pupil detection method and corneal reflection spot detection method and myopia strabismus feature extraction method introduced in this paper is quick and convenient. Could effectively improve the convenience of myopia and strabismus screening. |
