With the rapid development of modern wireless communication technology, the demand for multimedia services is growing. It needs to take up more spectrum bandwidth, which leads to the exhaustion of spectrum resources. OFDM technology has the characteristics of high frequency spectrum utilization, which has become the hotspot in wireless communication research.Firstly, this paper gives an introduction of the system structure based on wireless broadband OFDM adaptive modulation technology, and then analyzes the principle of OFDM system in multiuser adaptive allocation principle and main algorithm, and based on FPGA+ARM+DSP hardware platform, design the physical layer of the OFDM adaptive modulator scheme, achieve speed, resource, power consumption of the three party hardware modulation system.In this paper, the principle of adaptive OFDM modulator is analyzed, through the preset the parameters, the OFDM system are designed in detail, especially for channel encoding, nQAM modulation, and pre-equalization.Finally, CycloneIII series FPGA chip is used to design the OFDM adaptive modulator with Verilog HDL in the Quartus II platform, and the simulation is carried out with ModelSim software. The validity and correctness of the design scheme are verified by the final results.
