As the development of computer technology, CAE technology has been widely used in the development of new products. CAE technology can effectively shorten the development cycle, reduce the development cost of the whole product, improve product reliability, and can play a role in the analysis of product quality and product performance, static and dynamic analysis.The design of the display module is based on the case of a notebook computer, and the structure design and geometric model of the display module are built by using UG software. Then the Nastran model is built and the finite element model is established. The model is the analysis of the static state of the notebook cover, analysis of the stress and strain under different body conditions, improve the results of the analysis on the basis of this analysis, and then the upper cover is designed to optimize the design, to find out the point of attention.The paper uses the software of UG & Nastran and it analyzes the advantages of the software, and introduces the process of stress analysis. The stress state diagram of different conditions is obtained by comparing the state under different conditions. The material and the thickness of the notebook computer are optimized, and the materials of different thickness are analyzed and compared. According to the analysis results, the optimization scheme is simulated, and the final conclusion is:the appropriate lightweight processing and the increasing of the optimized support, the strength of the upper cover is still used to meet the requirements. Not only meet the use requirements, but also to find the best price for the design of the program to solve the practical problems of the project.
