The hierarchical structure of the traditional network is the key to the Internet being such great success. Due to the huge size and scale of the Internet, and the conflicting goals and policies among multiple existing stakeholders, any deployment of novel network technology and architecture, or any modification of existing ones is nearly impossible under the current Internet situation. In recent years, as software defined network which is represented by openflow becomes a research hotspot to improve current Internet situation, the technology of forwarding and control element separation and network virtualization has been great attention, which are the key researchs of SDN.In this paper, we propose a method of network virtualization based on ForCES architecture and network virtualization technology. The core idea of the method is that generating multiple isolated virtual forwarding elements named vFE in ForCES FE with virtualization technology. Each vFE running a FE application to deploy a specific service and building isolated virtual networks in terms of service types as requested. Then, the implementation approaches for ForCES-implemented virtualization of data plane are discussed according to the method and provided a framework of virtualization platform. After that, we design and implement the communication module in virtualization process management by extending traditional ForCES protocol. And proposing an optimization mothod based on DPDK between virtual nodes to solove bottleneck problem of virtual nodes commucation.Secondly, according to the idea of forwarding and control separation and virtualization, we put forward a control plane and date plane separated load balancing system based on the ForCES-implemented virtualization platform. The control plane deployed at CE as a load balancing module constituted by several submodules like service configuration and management, scheduling algorithm, routing, et al., and unified managed by administrator. With the component of load balancing abstracted as LFBs, mutiple logic function blocks (LFBs) are constructed to the load balancing data plane, which running at a FE application named load balancing application. Then, we design and implement the submodules of load balancing module in CE and modeling load balancing LFBs in FE application. After that, we use SPT-N4U network tester to test the performance of load balancing, compare and analysis the pacaket scheduing and forwading under different test scenarios.
