Access control technology is an effective means to achieve information security, control systems limits, as well as to provide users with point-based services. It will play a key role especially for the larger, more users of the system. Role-based access control model RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) is the more advanced access control model application recently. Compared to traditional access control model, RBAC has greater flexibility and scalability. According to the studies of RBAC96 and RBAC97, which develop and mature in the applications of RBAC model. On the basis of these studies, and according to the prevailing problem in province entrance examination information network, Admissions Network W · RBAC model is designed. In recent years, with more and more exam information network transformation, the using of network enrollment increases, but it also brings an increasingly significant problems. Taken Inner Mongolia education entrance examination information network for example, we put the problems into three categories:1, Users verified and functions dispersed. For example, college entrance, college entrance examination voluntary reporting, Self enrollment, enrollment tests, etc. are independent modules, and many make enrollment information online disorganized.2, Information is vague and inconvenient for the users, candidates need to find relevant information in various types of test information after landing the system, like a needle in a haystack.3, Process is non-standardized. An examination process is dispersed into several independent modules, without unified management and convergence. To solve these problems, and according to the characteristics of Admissions Network in actual application, a MVC framework-style architecture is adopted in its design, which enables a loosely coupled architecture, and provides greater convenience in the development and maintenance of the system. At the same time, we divide each step of the operation process into separate functional node modules and make each module authorized management roles, based on the role of rights management of W · RBAC model and business process as the main line. In the application of W · RBAC model to achieve network enrollment role-based access control system’s design and control, we make a detailed analysis and planning aiming the basic elements of users, roles, and permissions. Through role permissions in achievements of function process control and guidance system, a specific design is made, and on the rules of access control system implementation and database design, a full exposition is also made. The usage of W · RBAC model effectively improves the flexibility user access control in Admissions Network. The effective integration of the original function of the system improves the system availability, enhances the security of system data, and reduces the cost of system development and management. The Admissions Network module shows the advantages of RBAC model, which is fully reflected in the application of this system.
