Study On The Commonly Used Methods Of Hiding Documents

The article mainly introduces a variety of documents hidden ways in the MS-DOS and Windows operating systems. Hiding documents, as the name implies, is a way to hide disk documents in the computer’s memory, therefore, the innocent people can not see or will not easily find. Here the document is not in the traditional sense of a written document, but the disk file stored in the computer. Disk files stored in the computer, is an information pool for the purpose of achieving a certain function or functions of the software. There are many kinds of documents, so the hidden methods vary. Because there are many ways of documents hidden, the principle which these methods are based on are different. Based on the above points, the paper illuminates the common method of hiding documents.Before introducing the specific tenets,author introduce the disk data storage principle and common file systems on MS-DOS, Windows operating system, aims to lay the theoretical foundation for explaining the principles of hidden documents.This paper also introduces the usable operation of hiding documents for MS-DOS, Windows operating system.In addition, in order to more easily access the realization of hiding documents, in this paper, some common document hidden softwares are introduced.Finally, the author explains the developed file extension finding and hiding system in detail. Based on documents eigenvalue invariance principle that the system software for document eigenvalue.By compairing the head scan of the target file with the document eigenvalues stored in the eigenvalue base, we can differentiate the document saved with its original name suffix corresponding to the head characteristics to achieve finding hidden documents by modifying the name suffix.Then also by compairing the eigenvalues of the eigenvalues base with the head of the paper features, we can identify its true file type.The author hopes that by introducing the method of hiding documents and the development of the software in system, to help the public security work extracting hidden information in the paper, thus more effectively to obtain evidence of criminal evidence.
