With the development of fieldbus control technology, Ethernet technology, networked control systems have the advantages in resource sharing, distributed control systems, hardware connections and so on, so they are quickly applied in electricity, transportation, robots, aerospace and other systems. Stability is the basic property of the control systems. However, in some specific cases, the dynamic performance of a system must be taken into requirement. This article will study the networked control systems from the stability and dynamic performance aspects.Firstly, stability conditions and the dynamic performance of a standard-sampling control system is studied, although this part is relatively simple and easy to understand, an interesting phenomenon is found. Intuitively, increasing the sampling period of the system will save system resources but make the dynamic performance of the system bad. Notably, intuitive idea is not established, increasing the sampling period may improve the dynamic performance of the system. This is very useful in application because it can save system resource and gain better dynamic performance at the same time. Then, the stability of the networked control systems based on switched strategy is studied, it is very necessary to point out that the stability of the networked control systems based on switched strategy is better than that of standard-sampling control system. Finally, the dynamic performance of the networked control systems based on switched strategy is studied, the method is to optimize the switching parameter of the controller. Therefore, for each given sampling period, the performance index of the system can be got by setting the switching parameter. It is necessary to point out that the dynamic performance of the networked control systems based on switched strategy is better than that of the standard-sampling control system. Namely, in the case of the same resource consumption, the networked control system based on switched strategy can obtain better dynamic performance.
