With the rapid development of satellite remote sensing technology, the high spatial resolution, high temporal resolution and high spectral resolution of satellite imaging technology has also achieved leap-forward development. Given the high-resolution satellite remote sensing image at home and abroad market account for remote sensing image of a place gradually replaced by the user to use increasingly satisfy the market for high resolution aerial images are high precision need of the replay cycle. Issued to the ground station in satellite sensor imaging after transmission after decoding, radiation correction, band registration by appearance rail build strict orbital parameters and models used to deal with the system geometry and geometric calibration. Across a wide range of popularization and application in environment monitoring, urban planning and land resources development and application of remote sensing application fields such as the preferred geometric correction need to be deal with, but is often used in satellite remote sensing image geometric processing model has strict orbit model based on sensor and on this basis, by the experts and scholars are proposed according to the different precision requirement and proves the necessity and feasibility of the universal geometric model.The works in this paper mainly follows:(1)At present, satellite remote sensing image or aerial remote sensing image is usually used by several orthographic correction model mainly has:collinear equation model, the direct linear transformation model, rational function model and its transformation are analyzed, the satellite remote sensing image of the strict physical model or strict track model and general mathematical model of the relationship;(2) According to the calculation method of rational function model and control scheme, according to the calculation of rational function model and promote the rational function model for geometric positioning accuracy requirement, and design an improved calculation method, puts forward the concrete expression of the optimization process;Stereo pairs(3) With the IRS-P5 to test data, and combining the data of the auxiliary parameter file rational function coefficient, designed the different control scheme analysis rational function model error factors and different precision of digital elevation model for the influence degree of the rational function model for geometric positioning.This thesis,improved rational function model is a system of theoretical research, and combining the experiments verify the model in effectiveness and universality of high-resolution satellite remote sensing image positioning especially in desert island such as actual is difficult to measure or unable to measure the area of control point, implementation based on sparse ground control points of high resolution satellite remote sensing image high precision geometric positioning.
