Design And Implementation Of Urban Transportation System Based On The Android And LBS

Nowadays, with the rapid development of Internet technology and 4G network, as well as mobile terminal’s capabilities become more powerful, the applications of location based service have become a hot research topic and important development direction in the mobile Internet. In this paper, a LBS mobile urban traffic system based on Android is designed and implemented, which is an application of LBS on the intelligent travel and transportation scheduling.Urban Transportation System based on Android and LBS designed mainly provides convenience for people travel by taxi and bus. In the case of without breaking the travel order, the system makes full use of the resources. The system’s client interface is friendly and it is easily to operate by using the location information of passengers and the vehicles. The system provides real time movement mutual perception function to achieve the purposes of ride a vehicle.Firstly, this paper reviewed some basis technologies in system development such as the structure of the Android platform, LBS service and how to get BaiduMap location information. Then the system requirements and design the database were given. The functions of the system were defined and data storage for these functions to process information was provided. On the basis of the system overall design, Android client used C/S hierarchical model and Web management used B/S structure model. Then the paper designed the passengers and drivers client workflow according to the system’s requirements. Then the paper described how to achieve the system registration, land system, send position to the server, query nearby vehicle and send and receive on request. Finally, the system functions were tested, and we have analyzed the test results.
