With the aggravation of the market competition and the change of industrial structure, the global manufacturing industry is facing a severe challenge. The manufacturing power led by the United States, Germany and China has formulated and implemented the national development strategy, which focuses on developing advanced manufacturing industry and the intelligent manufacturing driven by new technologies. Based on the Cyber-Physical System and ICT (Information Communication Technologies), Germany proposed the "industrial 4.0" strategy designed to change the basic model from centralized control to decentralized enhanced control. The goal of this strategy is to establish a production model with highly flexible personalization and digitization in order to promote the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing.The manufacturing cell is the basic granularity of the production system. The development of manufacturing cell under the CPS environment plays an important role in promoting the integrated application of CPS among the whole production process. Based on the characteristics of discrete manufacturing industry, this thesis takes the discrete manufacturing cell in CPS environment as the object of research, with the goal of constructing the process control strategy of manufacturing cell.Firstly, based on analysis of research status and development trend of the control strategy and CPS, the discrete CPS-based manufacturing cell (CPS-MC) is proposed, the connotation and characteristics of the discrete manufacturing unit are defined, and the cyber physical environment and its map structure of CPS-MC is constructed. Secondly, based on analyzing the types and characteristics of the manufacturing resources of CPS-based manufacturing cell (CPS-MCMR), the semantic labels of CPS-MCMR are defined, and their formal expressions are also analyzed. Then the semantic label model of manufacturing resources based on the object-oriented colored Petri network is built. Finally, based on the semantic labels, this thesis puts forward the CPS-MCMR control strategy, and based on analysis of the relationships among the CPS-MCMR, the CPS-MC control strategy is proposed, aiming to provide a reference model for the construction and operation of the discrete manufacturing in CPS environment.
