Intelligent Retrieval System Of Cultural Relic Material Based On Ontology Knowledge Base

The purpose of this paper is to provide a material retrieval system which is efficient for de-signers. After the research about the problem in searching culture materials when the designers what to find some materials, we present a solution based on culture ontology and knowledge base, and accomplish a retrieval system which can understand the purpose of designers in se-mantic.In traditional, the retireval sentence will be segment to keywords, and the semantic of keywords will not be used, they are just used to match the information. Because of that, the result will not be accurate, so we want to use the semantic to improve the retrieval results. There are two data basis, one is culture ontology and knowledge base, another one is culture material base. The culture ontology and knowledge base contains the full knowledge about culture domain, and we can analyze the semantic information of designers’retrieval sentance, and get the accurate material with the information. Because of the situation that the culture ontology and konwledge base is not perfect currently, We also accomplish a full-text retireval system as a supplement,.In this paper, we also discuss about the bottleneck at knowledge reasoner, using the GPU technology and data pre-process to optimize the inference engine on time and space level.
