In recent years, the employment of undergraduates has become increasingly prominent and triggered widespread public concern. Employment information is the basis for the job hunting. However, due to the obstructed employment channels, unequal employment opportunities and not timely information communication, undergraduates face enormous employment competition pressure and some of them even missed employment opportunities and become unemployed. With the gradual digitization of recruitment information and the advent of networking job sites, the majority of the graduates turn to online recruitment information collecting and resume delivery. According to the China’s online recruitment market research report of the third quarter of 2014, the total number of people in China who apply jobs online is 174 million in the last three quarter of 2014 and it shows faster growth. The recruitment information in the Internet is messy and not for graduates. In this thesis, based on the recruitment information released by the job career center in colleges and universities, it provides a specialized job vertical search engine system for the graduates and it ensures high-quality and reliable recruitment information.In this thesis, based on the experience of the successful application of vertical search engine in other field, a job vertical search engine for graduates is built and implemented based on the open source tools of Heritrix and Lucene. This topic research focuses on the crawling, information extraction, indexing and retrieval sorting techniques in vertical search engine. The system is divided into front-end and back-end modules. The font-end module includes user registration, query interface, user position collection and job push sub-modules. The back-end module includes information gathering, information extraction, indexing, retrieval and sorting and system background management sub-modules.The results of this system are following: firstly, the system periodically crawl job sites of major universities and incrementally update the page library and index database to ensure the reliability and real-time of the recruitment information; secondly, the structured information is extracted from the recruitment information page and the job title, job location, professional requirements et.al. are extracted, and the system supports two retrieval modes which are full-text search and advance search; lastly, the user interactive experience is in high quality and the system provides data analysis and data visualization of job information and the automatic job push function.The significance of the system is that through the integration of the recruitment information from the employment information sites in major universities, it provides the graduates a comprehensive job vertical search engine system. The users can manage their interested recruitment information conveniently and search and browse quickly. The system become a bridge between the graduates and enterprises.
