Design And Implementation Of Network Public Opinion Monitoring System

Internet has become the most convenient information acquisition mean at times, it facilitates the government information management, brings out the significant change in modern life. Internet has the special role in public news spreading, even any little news would propagate and magnify till lead to hot spots and sensitive events if they were not timely monitor, manage and manipulate. Hence, the public opinion information monitoring is important for constructing the harmonic society.In the thesis, the implementation of public opinion monitoring system based on information collection framework is discussed. The main points are as follows.1. Firstly, the public opinion monitoring flowchart is given, which includes analysis planning, information gathering, public opinion processing and public opinion service. In the public opinion process flow, the functional requirements based on internet are optimizaed.2. By referencing to other similar systems, many advanced technologies are introduced in the system implementation, such as network information intelligent processing technology, text mining and fuzzy retrieval technology, and internet surveillance. According to the design goals, the system could provide the functions including Internet public opinion information retrieval, Internet Information Discovery, tracking, monitoring, real-time monitoring of public opinion, sensitive information and statistical analysis of Internet public opinion.3. At last, the system is tested. The tests mainly focus on the function and the pressure bearing capability, and the results show that the system’s design goals are successfully completed. The system can assist the government, enterprises and institutions to master the trend of public opinion, accurately capture the early-warning information, respond to important events timely.The system makes it possible to guide and propaganda public opinion positively, to eliminate the negative influence of public opinion, to construct mainstream public opinions of socialism.
