Research And Realization Of TR-069 Protocol Based On OpenWrt

With continuous development of the wide area network scale, the number of device access to WAN is increasing, and the services carried on WAN become more diversified, so it is an inevitable trend to use centralized-distributed management structure in WAN management system. The management of WAN access device which is an important part of WAN management becomes more and more important. At the same time, the development of broadband services make the number and type of the access device increase, so it has become more difficult to manage WAN access device. Most of current terminals provide an LAN configuration interface for home maintenance, however this low way of maintenance is lowly efficient and has high cost. Therefore, how to manage the large number of WAN terminals more efficiently has become a concerning problem.Firstly, this thesis described the WAN management model. The WAN management system not only needed to ensure efficient and reliable data transmission, but also required to complete the management and configuration of terminals. In order to meet the two requirements, this thesis studied the key technologies in WAN management such as Web Service, data transmission and network management. Comparing the SNMP and TR-069 protocol, then the TR-069 protocol is chosen as the core protocol of network management system.As the most terminals access to WAN through gateway, use the TR-069 protocol as network management protocol to manage WAN terminals, the ACS must traverse the gateway according to the characteristics of TR-069 protocol. With the research of Device-Gateway Association mechanism and STUN mechanism, the limitations of them is discovered. Based on the limitations, this thesis proposed the technique that uses ALG technology traversal the gateway.The focus of this thesis puts forward a design and implementation of TR-069 module based on OpenWrt platform, and described the realization of the TR-069 module in detail. Finally, the functions of this module designed in this thesis were tested, and the test results prove that the basic function of the module is realized.
