Research And Implementation On The Content-based Publish/Subscribe System

Under the cooperation of many application units,the decision-making always needs fusion information of many application systems.At present,lognitudinal operation software isn’t applicable to the need of many application units’ cooperating work.Between the systems,information can’t be shared effectively,and the communion is in large-scale applications over the Internet.The traditional point-to-point information changes is behind the times.At the same time, because of the large-scale diffusion,big amount and dynamic changes of operation entities,the maintenance of coupling relation is difficult.The publish/subscribe communication paradigm provides one of the effective solutions for this.Well-adapted to the loosely coupled nature of distributed interaction in large-scale applications over the Internet, the publish/subscribe communication paradigm has recently received an increasing attention. With systems based on that paradigm, subscribers register their interest in an event, or a pattern of events, and are subsequently asynchronously notified of events fired by publishers.The thesis provides the research and analysis on the publish/subscribe communication paradigm.It systematically introduces the domestic and overseas current state in publish/subscribe field, including current research focuses and evolution. In addition, the thesis introduces the basic concepts and characteristics in Publish/Subscribe field. It classifies the different Publish/Subscribe systems according to the different criteria. The thesis also compares the Publish/Subscribe technology with different distributed interactive technologies. It designs a new publish/subscribe prototype system based on our current Subscribe/Disseminate system and our practical urgent demands that support real- time data and multiple database data. It describes the architectures of the brokers, Matching Algorithm and Merging Algorithm in details.And then it realizes a content-based publish/subscribe system.
