As the country has been vigorously promoting science and technology career, information enterprise not only attaches great importance to the automatic product research and development, also pays attention to after-sale operation and maintenance of the products. The concept of Automated Operation and Maintenance was born with the current social progress. Automated Operation and Maintenance is that operational tools are used, instead of the traditional operation staff, to provide a more intelligent and efficient way of routine maintenance. Automated Operation and Maintenance can free operation staff from simple and repetitive work. Therefore, they can focus on troubleshooting and improving their own skills. Meanwhile, the number of users can be expanded; enterprise efficiency will be improved; and the cost is reduced.Web front-end development technology is more and more important in the current era of Internet. A growing number of framework and technology related to front-end development was raised. At present the most popular is RIA technology. The RIA technology is to execute some logic by transferring it located in the server-side in the B/S structure to the browser, which solved "thin" client features of the B/S structure and improved the performance of framework development systematically. Java Script is the most popular in RIA development. Java Script invokes the background logic processing by embedding the code in the front-end interface language. It improves the efficiency of software development, and solves the bottleneck of traditional B/S structure. So we choose Java Script and Ajax technology as front-end solutions for Automated Operation and Maintenance Platform.With B/S structure, system function was achieved by both front end and back end. The front-end technology uses ASP.NET, Java Script, CSS, Ajax. The backend technology uses C# and SQLServer2008 database. The function of C# language is very powerful, which is used to implement the underlying logic. SQLServer2008 is used as local database storage, data interaction is fulfilled by calling the Web Service. For system development framework, we choose something similar to the level of the MVC architecture. The framework includes module layer, display layer and control layer, which also adds the broker layer to improve the safety of the system.Users of Automated Operation and Maintenance Platform include the supervisor, general manager, system administrators, business administrators, application administrators, network administrators, and software developers. Based on the samples of data center needs analysis of one medium-sized enterprise, the article is to build Automated Operation and Maintenance Platform based on VMware, the popular virtualization software. The users login the client-side and enter into the Automated Operation and Maintenance platform, and the platform communicates between the server and the middleware. Through calling API provided by the VMware SDK, the function provided by VMware v Sphere client-side is transformed to the Automated Operation and Maintenance Platform and achieved on it. With integration of function and simplification of control procedures, Automated Operation and Maintenance Platform becomes suitable for all IT managers in the enterprise. A unified solution is formed in the combination of Automated Operation and Maintenance Platform and virtualization software. All aspects of performance gets further enhanced based on virtualization. The most important function of Automated Operation and Maintenance is the customized operational function module according to the requirements of enterprise, the flexible application of virtualization technology and Operation and Maintenance technology and the improvement of the working efficiency of the operation and maintenance staff.After the project development,the research direction in the future is to be planned out. We will continue to dig deeply into the Java Script technology and to further research the use of the front-end technology in the future. With the increasing development of technology, the Automated Operation and Maintenance technology should be used by the users not only on the Intranet, but also on the Internet. Furthermore, it is necessary that the research on the Automated Operation and Maintenance should extend to range of the mobile terminals, not just the PC terminals now.
