With the rapid development of mobile device such as smart phones, tablet PC, the mobile OS which running on mobile device is experiencing rapid development. The development of mobile applications becomes research hotspot. Presently, there are several popular mobile operating systems, such as iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Black Berry etc. The diversification of the mobile OS and rapidly growing requirement of mobile applications brings many challenges to development of mobile applications. The mobile application development has the following main issues,1) The diversification of the mobile OS leads to difficulty in development and maintenance of mobile applications2) The updating process of mobile applications is inefficient3) Personalized recommendation systems are not accurateA cross-platform system composed by mobile application development and supporting environment is proposed. More specific contribution is,1) A framework for mobile application development with supporting environment is proposed. The framework is a cross-platform system which supporting mobile application differential updating and personalized recommendation system.2) A method for differential mobile application updating is proposed. The method is based on the resource loader of dynamic programming language runtime.3) A model evaluating the users’ preference using both rating and usage score of application is proposed. The model can evaluate the users’preference more accurately.4) A system supporting mobile application differential updating and personalized recommendation is implemented. We implemented a C/S model based system which supporting apps management and previously features.
