With the development of computer network technology and the gradual maturity of multimedia technology, Digital video and network products get more and more extensive application, copyright protection and integrity authentication technology has become the urgent problem now. Digital watermarking technology is technique that the copyright owner of the digital products copyright protection and information through hiding to complete authentication in sound, image or video and other digital content. In this paper, combined with the latest coding standard H.264/AVC to carry on the research of video watermarking algorithm. Compared with all current video coding standard, H.264/AVC not only in the premise of ensuring the video quality under a very high compression ratio, but also has a good network of inclusive. The research based on the H.264 / AVC video watermarking algorithm is currently more popular, but because of its excellent compression performance, less redundant data increased the difficulty of video watermarking technology based H.264 / AVC.First the video watermarking technology related theory is introduced, based on these related theories, in order to design a practical application to meet the transparency, robustness, security and other aspects of the request, the key technology of H.264 codec framework and than other video coding standard MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and other excellent have been studied with the system.The watermark pretreatment can directly affect the security of watermarking extraction, therefore the pretreatment methods of watermarking information is studied. Based on the existing video watermarking algorithm, designed a video watermarking algorithm based on H.264/AVC video coding standard I-frame macroblock region in high transparency. Appropriate embedding region is selected according to the both indicators which reflect the macro subblocks’ texture complexity of video. Proposed priority coefficient matrix to determine which reflect video watermarking transparency, low bit rate and safety.The most appropriate the non-zero quantized coefficients in DCT domain according to the priority matrix coefficients is selected to embed watermark information by modifying the parity of the coefficient.Finally, Some experiments of digital watermark embedding are simulated by utilizing the proposed method for different video sequences.Experiments are performed to realize the algorithm, and the analysis of experimental results, this algorithm has good transparency in the video quality, bit rate change is very small, has a strong anti repetition coding ability.
