Organic electroluminescence device has been studied extensively as a new generation of display technology. Device structure has been gradually stabilized after the study achieved breakthrough results. Then the assistive technology such as conductive glass, vacuum system, coating technology, packaging technology has also made great development. The study of electroluminescent materials is the core technology of electroluminescence study because of the possibilities inherent in the techniques of organic synthesis. So its research field has become the most widest and has the greatest potential. Hole transport material is a large class of organic electroluminescent material. Luminous brightness and efficiency can be effectively improved through the improvement and perfection of material properties. The device lifetime is also been influenced by the stability of the material.In this article, we synthesized several typical triarylamine and amine biphenyl hole transport materials according to the references. The quality of the material meets the use requirements after purification such as column chromatography separation, crystallization, etc. We carried out the purity and optical performance test. Then we verified and summarized the law by the characteristics of the material structure. We also designed and synthesized a new hole transporting materials CBN based on these studies. We verified the correlation ship between structure and performance using new material through a series of tests. We applied gel chromatographic analysis(GPC) and special sample treatment method such as impurity concentration in purity analysis of the new material. This method overcomes the shortcomings in high purity material analysis by conventional liquid chromatography(HPLC). HPLC cannot effectively reflect the material quality differences when the material is in high purity because of the influence of environmental fluctuations, the error of instrument system, operation and other factors. The result of GPC and HPLC with sample pretreatment is stable and repeatable. The result of GPC/HPLC analysis corresponds very well to device evaluation. Therefore we can use it for material quality evaluation. It is a good method for detecting the material in industrial production.There are different substitutes in TPD、NPB、TNB、CBN. π Bond electron vibration frequency decreases with the reinforcement of Conjugate structure, and the absorption wavelength red-shift. At the same time the C-N stretching vibration frequency also appears red-shifted trend. Performance on the hole transmission rate is improved obviously. The stability of the material also has the very big enhancement. The new material has already been made. GPC analysis has also been listed as one of the routine inspection projects.
