Deep space relay communication technology makes the communication possible between the communication nodes that communication link cannot be built directly due to long haul distance, physical barriers and other factor influence. The high-risk and high-cost features of deep space communication require the feasibility of deep space communication scheme must be verified before it actually carried out, but this procedure cannot earlier than the deployment of the relay satellite. Therefore, the work of validation can only be done with theoretical calculation and software simulation. With powerful mathematical analysis and computation capability as well as visualization capability, software simulation can do a better work than theoretical calculation in the work of deep space communication scheme feasibility validation under the ground environment. Therefore, the pint of this thesis is to develop a visual, easy operation simulation platform with powerful mathematical analysis and computation capability which can be used to simulate the deep space communication scheme and assessing the performance of the scheme.Designed a deep space communication simulation platform overall scheme based on hybrid peer network topology architecture with one central server program and one communication node program. And realized a communication framework shared by the central server program and the communication node program by using the IOCP technology which is commonly used in scalable high performance server designing.By integrating the satellite toolkit software with the basic communication framework, this dissertation designed and realized the function of the network topology construction and deep space communication scenario building as well as simulation processes synchronizing.By integrating the deep space communication protocol with the basic communication framework, this dissertation initially implemented the function of file relay transfer based on the CFDP protocol and the function of file transfer drop simulation in deep space environment.Based on Mars-Earth communication, the simulation platform is used for simulating the direct-to-earth, the Mars orbiter relay link and the Sun-Earth Lagrange point relay link communication, and assessed the performance of the Sun-Earth Lagrange point relay communication scheme from the perspective of the file transfer.
