With the continuously development of computer hardware and software, mobile devices is coming into people’s lives and more and more widely used,its performance is getting more and more attention. Due to the mobile device is different from PC directly connected to 220 V power line, it need the support of the battery and need to adapt to environmental changes and usage scenarios. The mobile devices need stable and durable use, so its fault tolerance and persistence has become an important indicator to measure the performance of the battery.This paper studies the power consumption of the mobile device environment to optimize the design of the fault tolerant strategy, aimed at improving mobile device fault tolerance, and optimize the power consumption.In the experiment, BLCR checkpoint mechanism load into the mobile devices and save important information of the process to the checkpoint file by checking the state examination of the running applications on the mobile devices. Compiling a custom firmware through the open source project OpenWrt and downloading it into the corresponding router and expander storage capacity, making it a minature servers and storage. Not only make full use of the router as the ability of the network equipment for data forwarding, but also excavate the storage function of the router. The router communicates via TCP/IP protocol and mobile device to hold the checkpoint file, and when the process of mobile device server failed, it send the latest receive checkpoint file. Mobile device use the router to send back the checkpoint file to rollback, rapidly recovery process to its latest state when it was checked, and then the process continue to run in from its latest condition. This way improves the tolerance of the mobile device when dealing with the service failure and the mobile device can quickly respond and eliminate the influence. Checkpoint mechanism consumes battery power and rollback operations can save the energy for process failure. This paper analysis the state of the process running on the mobile device and establish the model, analysis the factors of influence on the systerm overhead, through the simulation experiment it concludes the relationship between this factors and gives the best checkpoint interval. Finally, this paper analysis the advantages and disadvantages of this method and gives the further research direction.
