With the development of aviation, fight simulation based on virtual reality is designed and widely used. In order to enhance the visual authenticity and immersion when training, the scene is often rendered in 3D.For the special needs of flight simulator visual subsystem, this paper proposed a method for three-dimensional reconstruction. This method can reduce human workload and improve the efficiency in ensuring the scene reconstruction effort.This paper restore the three-dimensional structure of the scene with 3D information extracted from image collected by stereo vision system using epipolar geometry. Based on basic math geometry and physical optics, the paper analyzes important technical means in current reconstruction algorithms and process, and then propose a basic flow of three-dimensional scene reconstruction system.This paper discusses the most critical feature matching problem of reconstruction process in detail. In order to enhance the accuracy of feature matching, this paper puts forward the multilevel feature matching method, through point feature, line features and regional characteristics match level 3 matching method for feature matching. For each feature matching, discussed the characteristics of primitive respective matching method, multi-stage feature matching.For linear feature matching,this paper proposed multistage matching method based on matrix and multiple constraints characteristics, effectively solve the shade exist in the process of extraction algorithm and linear fracture problems. For regional match, on the basis of the global energy function and graph cuts and other concepts and algorithm processes, and experiments show that the algorithm used not only in the area of low texture matching high precision, and the scene clear boundary point disparity map noise, less non-usable visual handicap.For the different requirements of visual depth in flight simulation visual system this paper proposes a three-dimensional scene reconstruction method based on scale space. Presents more details when depth of scene is shallow, closer from the simulator. For the scene father away from the simulator, which depth is deeper, less detail is presented.This paper makes simulation experiment on these algorithm, results showed that this 3D reconstruction method for a flight simulator visual subsystem is feasible and accuracy, and provides a new thought of feasibility study for the development of flight simulator visual system.
