Video data encryption technology as an important means to protect information security, has become a key technology is very practical and urgent to develop.Cryptology origin earlier, along with the development of computer science and technology, information and information technology put forward higher and higher demands on cryptography. Traditional encryption methods such as DES, RSA etc. are generally based on text data design. But the multimedia data with a large amount of data and the autocorrelation and text data is very different from the traditional methods of encrypting, it is difficult to meet the requirements of multimedia application.According to the characteristics of video data in a large quantity of data, this paper introduces the research status of image encryption based on chaos theory, chaotic theory and basic knowledge of cryptography, the design of safety encryption method using chaotic cryptography to ensure the security of video data. The chaotic video encryption system based on AVI video data in the video file for example realize. Firstly, AVI video files were preprocessed, to extract the pixel matrix size video image frames and each frame image from each frame; then the processing of color image into a gray image of the same matrix, chaotic sequences based on Logistic chaotic mapping generated the image gray value of alternative, make the original image into a color image the final will be a frame; each frame image encryption to encrypt the video file combination. The experimental results show that the use of encryption matrix, matrix and the video frame is formed by the combination of chaotic sequences are XOR operation, simple algorithm, has obvious advantages in time and space. Then use the RSA public key encryption algorithm for key transmission of the encrypted, improves the safety performance of the key. And this topic research content and market demand closely.
