Speech enhancement methods has become a mature technology in research area. The most mature application in this area in practical are Background noise elimination and speech echo cancellation technology which used to ensure the quality of communication in real-time. Many products take advantage of speech enhancement system technology to enhance the experience of voice interaction in smart TV industry in recent years. Currently, the voice quality of human during interaction is unsatisfactory without some supplementary methods(ie. remote control with mic, specific instructions trigger interactions, using the speech recognition with noise, etc) because of the complexities of household environment noise and difficulties of far field application in using enhancement technique, which necessarily decreases the effect of voice interactive experience. To solve the problems mentioned above, we proposed a voice enhancement method which based on AEC algorithm and supplemented by OMLSA algorithm after analyzing the characteristics of several speech enhancement algorithms and household environment noises. we also developed voice enhanced real-time demonstration system put forward a reasonable scheme of system transition to guarantee satisfactory enhancement effects without any supplementary methods.The main work of this paper is divided into four parts. Part 1 gives a brief description of speech enhancement technique and introduces several methods published for comparison. According to The characteristics of the household environment noise, part 2 builds the speech enhancement algorithm based on traditional algorithms which is suitable for our design and carries out the building of software module and the code of real-time system. Part 3 gives detailed description of how to build the speech enhancement system structures and how to conduct useful experiments, and then deeply analyzes the results. Part 4 researches on the applications of the speech enhancement technique in Smart TV industry and complete the product scheme and the quality assessment scheme of our system proposed in this paper. At last, we concludes on the advantages and disadvantages of this designed system.
