The neutral type descriptor system is more complex and wider than descriptor system and neutral system. In a practical system, a large number of time-delay systems can be can be modelled as general neutral type descriptor system, such as population ecosystem, heat exchange systems, the transmission line problem, etc. It also contains not only delays in both its states and the derivatives of states, but also has the nature of regular and pulse of the generalized system, so it is more widely and much better to reflect the essence of things than descriptor system and neutral system. Time delays and uncertainty are important factors which affect the performance of neutral type singular system. Therefore, the research for uncertain neutral type descriptor systems with time-delays has important theoretical and practical significance.This dissertation studies the problem of delay-dependent stability for uncertain neutral type descriptor system with time-delays by constructing appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, combining with model transformation, integral inequalities, free-weighting matrix methods and linear matrix inequalities(LMI). The main works are as follows:(1) For the uncertain neutral type systems, by employing free-weighting matrix methods and linear matrix inequality methods, the stability problem for a class of neutral type systems with distribute time delays is considered.(2) For the neutral Markov jump system, by using model transformation and integral inequality, a new criterion of H∞ the exponential stability for neutral Markovian Jump type with singular systems is obtained.(3) The problem of the exponential stability for a class of neutral type descriptor Lurie system with time-varying is discussed. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional stability theory, using Schur-complement Lemma and an integral inequality, the absolutely stability of neutral type singular system in finite sector is delt with.(4) The exponential stability problem of the neutral singular network system is investigated. According to Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and free-weighting matrix method, a new delay-dependent criterion for global exponential stability of the system is given.
