The LTE(Long Term Evolution) standard was formally proposed in 2004,by the Third Generation Partnership Project(3GPP) standardization organization in Toronto meeting. It is a technical standard to regulate the direction of extending 3G to 4G, usually called 3.9G standard. Because of adopting the distinct, more advanced orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) and multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) communication technology comparing to the 3G’s, the LTE system has a higher communication speed, more excellent communication quality and greater throughput than the 3G system, and can adapt to the current users’ requirements of high quality service in mobile communications. The main objectives The LTE standard proposed are as follows: uplink peak rates of 50 Mbit / s, downlink peak rates of 100 Mbit / s, the available frequency band reaches to 20 MHz, further optimizing the communication quality of the edge of the microcell under the existing communication technology, and improving the overall capacity of the system at a higher level. In view of the LTE communication system using different theories with those of 2G and 3G,firstly this paper describes and analyzes the basic principles of TD-LTE technology, highlighting the advanced parts of the technology more adapting to economic and social development relatively to those of 2G and 3G. Then it leads to the current research hot spots and difficulties in the LTE communication systems —— inter-cell interference management, meanwhile describing and analyzing the current research status and problems, laying the theoretical and practical basis for the scheme proposed later in this paper. Then describing the scheme detailedly, which comparing with the traditional and the base station cooperation schemes, obtaining the simulation results of each program, comparing and analyzing the various simulation results. By comparison, this paper describes the advantages and disadvantages of these schemes, combining with the actual simulation results, the optimal decision has been stated and presented.Among them, during detailedly describing the proposed schemes, this paper also introduces a three-phase antenna and related technologies, and according to the advantages and disadvantages of each technology, summarizing and integrating the related favorable technologies and schemes, thus fully describing the origin of the schemes proposed in this paper. Finally, analyzing and summarizing of the deficiencies existed in this paper, and outlooking the subsequent possible research directions in future.
