Neural electronic signal analysis theory, new neural signal acquisition method and new equipment for neural signal acquisition, detection and transmission have been more and more discussed as a crossed scientific problem for recent biology medical, clinic medical, measurement and sensor technology. Especially in medical biology and environmental detection application, more and more neural signal analysis results help on disease detection, analysis, cure, and real-time monitoring, it urgently requires higher, stricter performances for corresponding signal processer. System on chip integrates functions of amplifying, filtering, analog to digital converting and even data compressing, it has advantages of lower power, low noise,smaller size, higher precision compared to implement with single components. Meanwhile, wireless transmission enlarges the applications in special environment and makes the surface convenient and common.The paper first describes the background knowledge of neural signal acquisition chip, Including development situation, system architecture and related performance indicators; next to the chip module are introduced in detail, which mainly include low noise, high input impedance analog amplifier module, high precision analog-to-digital conversion processing module and class MUX circuit module. Finally a neural acquisition system for free-running objects has been fabricated in SMIC 180 nm 1P6M standard CMOS process with power consumption of 4mW, which can collect the data will be converted into a serial of digital signal on the 16 channel at the same time, and the simulation results is presented.
