Study On Pet Robot Based On Android Platform

With the growing popularity of smart phones, Android applications have been fully integrated into people’s daily lives, coming up with a variety of new products greatly extending the usage of our mobile phone. Joysticks, Polaroid camera peripherals, Bluetooth headsets, lamps controllers, portable projectors, smart watch catch our eyes and inspire our demands.This paper describes an approach based on the Android platform, the design and implementation of electronic pet.First of all it started with the background research, analysis of similar products at home and abroad, introduction to research methods and goals.Ir’s a relatively new, so we will talk about the concept before the design and functions.After analyzing the functional and Non-functional requirements of the electronic pets, use case diagram for typical usage is described in detail.On the basis of the requirement analysis, we conducted the overall design of the system, including mechanical, electronic controls, energy components, and of course the most important part: software architecture and function group design.Later on it elaborates core part of the design and implementation together with a detailed development process, code and debug.Some algorithms like the sound analysis section. The test section of a typical electronic pet needs a brief introduction.Finally, it summaries outcome of the research and practice of electronic pet Android platform, also give recommendations for its functionality and performance and high expectation for its future.
