Currently location based services(location based service, LBS) application is more and more widely. Based on the location of the service is divided into outdoor location service and indoor location services, but either outdoor or indoor location services, positioning technology are one of the core technologies of LBS. The existing outdoor positioning technology including GPS positioning and base station positioning. GPS positioning technology in outdoor environment can achieve the accuracy of 5 meters, but due to the building of the satellite signal shielding, making GPS positioning technology can not be directly applied to indoor positioning. The base station positioning technology can also be used indoors, but its positioning accuracy in probability within 150 meters of only 67%. In the complex indoor environment, how to realize the indoor positioning precision has become the concerns of many researchers. In view of this, the indoor positioning algorithm based on WiFi signal are studied in this paper.Based on WiFi signal of the indoor positioning algorithm in location fingerprint method is the most widely used an algorithm, the algorithm is divided into two stages: offline data and online positioning stage. The main work of this paper:(1) the analysis of off-line data collection stage is how to establish a fingerprint database, to point by point acquisition and store the fingerprint signal the workload is big problem. In this paper based on compressed sensing reconstruction algorithm is effective to solve the problem, and through the experiment and the simulation of MATLAB software, verify the feasibility of the algorithm. Indoor positioning accuracy in accuracy within 3 meters to 93.2%.(2) fingerprint location method in the static positioning although can achieve very high accuracy, dynamic locating accuracy will be greatly decreased. To solve this problem, this paper adopts the inertial sensor assisted location fingerprint method for intelligent equipment with positioning, Fusion of two methods of inertial navigation and location fingerprinting dynamic positioning of the high precision is achieved, and demonstrate the feasibility of the improved algorithm by experiment and MATLAB software simulation. The location algorithm with inertial measurement unit can make the positioning accuracy reached 99.9% within 2.5 meters.According to the experimental results, the compressed sensing reconstruction signal fingerprint library was drastically reduced in the fingerprint acquisition of the workload and improve the localization accuracy. The introduction of inertial measurement unit is the fingerprint algorithm for dynamic positioning in greatly improves the positioning accuracy, this paper has certain value for study and practical.
