Abstract/Summary:
The media technology develops with the development of mobile Internet technology. The kind of video applications tend to diversify. The capability of the mobile terminals in many application scenarios is limited, Such as the mobile video conferencing. But the traditional video coding schemes, such as H.264, have been increasingly unableto meet the demand of these type of video applications. Because the encoders of the traditional video coding schemes inclues the motion estimation and motion compensation which include a alarge amount of calculation. So the design of a lower complexity of the coding schemes are urgent. To solve these problems, this paper focuses on the distributed compressed video coding scheme. In the program implementation process, the compressed sensing technology and distributed video coding technology used in video frame’s coding, reduces the computational complexity of the encoding side. The main research work includes:(1) This paper proposes a new distributed video coding scheme. the non-key frame is divided into main non-key frames and second non-key frames in this scheme. the main non-key frames decodes with the help of the side information which is generated with the help of key frames. the seconds non-key frames make use of the adjacent main non-key frame to predicte the measurement and then decoder with the side information. The experiment results show that the average reconstruction qulity of non-key frames in proposed scheme has improved 3d B.(2) In order to redues the compression rate of the encoder further, the encoder introduced the Huffman coding method. The measurement of CS carries out Huffman coding to removes redundant information. The result shows that the scheme can reduce the compression ratio.(3) In the decoder, the sparsity of different video frames lead to different reconstruction quality, we propose a method for improving the quality of the reconstructed. The scheme estimates the reconstruction quality of non-key frames at the decoder. Then the encoder transmite another part of information to improve the quality of these frames.
