Wireless sensor network is constituted by a large number of self-organizing sensor nodes with communication and computing capabilities. It can be used for real-time monitoring, sensing and collecting information about the target object. With the continuous improvement of sensor technology, wireless communication technology and micro-electromechanical systems technology in recent years, wireless sensor network is becoming increasingly mature and has been applied to more and more areas. Underwater wireless sensor networks as an extension of sensor network applications in underwater environments, and can be widely used in water environment monitoring, marine information gathering, exploration and commercial exploitation of marine resources and coastal area defense, military intrusion detection, secondary navigation, and other numerous underwater scenes. In the water body monitoring and development, it plays an important role and has been widespread concerned by the domestic and foreign research institutions and government departments. Researchers have done a lot of research work, which actively promote technological development and practical application of underwater wireless sensor networks.Network topology of underwater wireless sensor networks is the operating platform of upper layer protocol. Good topology can not only improve the efficiency of routing protocols, but also provide technical support for data integration, time synchronization, targeting and mobile management, and it also has a great impact on the extension of the network life cycle. Underwater environment is complicated, such as water and sea breezes and other factors will exacerbate underwater communications interference, cause damaged connectivity and node failures, therefore efficient topology control are essential.Based on the analysis of the existing wireless sensor network topology control technology, according to the limited energy and node intelligence of underwater sensor nodes, this paper proposes an underwater wireless sensor network topology connectivity and topological overlay method based on game theory, which optimize the network structure, balance node energy and prolong the survival time of the network through making effective strategies. Firstly, a topology control and routing method based on non cooperative game is proposed. Through the development of effective data between nodes forwarding strategy, the network structure is optimized and the node energy is balanced. Then a coverage control algorithm based on sequential game is proposed. Through the control of node sensing power while finishing the target area coverage, the node energy consumption is reduced and the network survival time is prolonged. Finally the proposed algorithms in this paper are theoretical analyzed and experimental simulated. The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that, the proposed topology control method can reduce energy consumption of sensor nodes and balance node energy in the guarantee of the effectiveness of the network topology. This paper studys the topology control problems based on the underwater environment and node intelligence of underwater sensor node in underwater wireless sensor networks. The topology connectivity algorithm and coverage control algorithm proposed in this paper take fully consideration of the node intelligent and power limited in UWSNs. These algorithms can optimize the network topology, balance the node energy consumption and prolong the network lifetime. These algorithms are suitable for various underwater application scenarios and can adjust according to the different needs of various scenes. They will have a good application prospect in UWSNs and promote the application and popularization of the underwater wireless sensor networks.
