In recent years, the rapid development of mobile communication services, data throughput of the mobile network is also a growth spurt. Therefore, 3GPP launched a wireless interface long-term evolution(LTE). Compared with 3G, the LTE system has higher transmission rate, spectrum efficiency and lower delay performance. MIMO is used as the key technology of LTE and LTE-A is very important, it is through the transceiver using multiple antennas at both ends, can effectively restrain the channel fading, and greatly improve the spectrum utilization rate, channel capacity and signal coverage.This paper mainly studied the application of MIMO in LTE system of multi antenna transmission in transmission mode, combined with the LTE base station of the RRU equipment products company, using SFBC space-time coding method,analysis of a community and a central portion and a peripheral portion of the MIMO business model configuration and corresponding authentication scheme. Found the downlink rate of mobile terminal using beam-forming technique in the area of the center part of the TM8 model using spatial multiplexing technology is the TM3 pattern of the obtained close to or even lower, while in the cell edge portion of the TM8 mode can be obtained nearly 20% downlink rate of ascension. Finally, the adaptive switching simulation by TM3/TM8 model improved between the system throughputs effectively, so that the performance of the system has been in the best condition.This paper is to explore the application of LTE MIMO technology to launch in the system construction, still need further improvement, and in actual engineering may encounter a lot of problems, we will constantly sum up experience, to further improve the application of MIMO technology in the LTE transmission mode, LTE-A and the more advanced mobile communication standard in the future.
