With the development of wireless mobile communication, user desire of improving the transmission rate has become more and more strong. MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) technology emerge as the times require. MIMO technology will expand the single spectrum resources of the traditional single antenna transmission to the space, which comprehensively utilize spectrum resources and space resources. Therefore, MIMO technology improves the utilization of resources. This paper focus on the QoS-guaranteed user selection in large-scale MIMO system, in order to improve the utilization rate of spectrum resources and space resources:(1), On the condition that channel state information is perfectly known, this paper propose a QoS-resource mapping based on the equivalent bandwidth in massive MIMO system. With the known of channel state information, according to the user’s QoS requirements(transmission rate, delay and bit error rate) and channel state information, space resources and spectrum resources are mapped into spectrum resources. Therefor, assigned to the user a certain spectrum resources can meet user’s QoS requirements. The certain spectrum resources is called effective spectral bandwidth.(2), A new user selection algorithm based on the effective spectral bandwidth is proposed for the broadcast channel in massive MIMO system. The proposed new user selection algorithm is based on comprehensive consideration of the user’s QoS requirements and antenna number restrictions, in order to ensure the throughput of the system is maximum.(3), An optimized user selection algorithm based on the user selection algorithm proposed in(2).In the real application, the user in the whole communication process is not always active. Therefore, the optimized user selection algorithm only to ensure the active user’s QoS requirements. Based on the ideas above, the optimized user selection algorithm based on the equivalent spectrum bandwidth is proposed. The proposed optimized user selection algorithm is based on comprehensive consideration of the active user’s QoS requirements and antenna number restrictions, in order to ensure the throughput of the system is maximum.
