The Desing And Implementation Of The Portal System For The Gymnasium Of Chengdu Industrial Vocational Technical College

Chengdu Industrial Vocational Technical College is a secondary vocational school built by the Sichuan Province and Chengdu City. At present, the school covers an area of about 900 acres, the number of the staffs is nearly 1200, the number of the registered students is nearly 20000. It owns various kinds of sport facilities such as the standard playground, stadium, swimming pools, football courts and so forth. As the numbers of both students and sport facilities increasing, many problems appear inevitably in the management of the stadium, such as the confusion of site management, the loss of the sports goods, the heavy workload, the low utilization of space and many others. Three is an urgent need to set up an information management system for the effective management.To solve these problems, this dissertation proposes a practical solution of the portal system of sports venues based on content management system. The major works in this dissertation are as follows:(1) The research of the content management system. A portal system of sports venues via using content management system is developed. The system makes the all-around studies on the relative knowledge about content management system(CMS), such as the basic concept, the architecture theory, the core of management, the system security and so on.(2) The research of the management process of the management of sports venues. This dissertation makes the study on the management process and mode of sports venues, and it makes a design of a new management process and mode of sports venues based on the information system. The information portal can solidify the management mode, the management process and the management rules into a system, thus it can improve work efficiency and improve the utilization of sports venues.(3) The research of the relational database. Microsoft SQL Server database is a kind of relational database, and it is popular and stable. This dissertation also makes the in-depth studies on the relative knowledge about SQL Server, such as the basic theory, the contents about efficiency, security, design and so on.(4) The design and accomplishment of the portal system of sports venues. This information portal system has been applied to a school with over 10 thousand students. Because of the huge number of the users, the architecture design of this system is very important. The B/S(Browser/Server) structure is used and the three layer structure of MVC and the object oriented technology(OOP) based on ASP.NET is also adopted.This information portal system of sports venues of Chengdu Industrial Vocational Technical College can improve the utilization of sports venues greatly, enhance the management, improve the management ability for sports goods. It offers students an convenient platform to do sports and exercises. On the other hand, it also promotes and improves the informationization level of school.
