Design And Implementation Of Educational Resources Sharing System

With the rapid development of the Internet and the sharp increasing of information, there have been a variety of teaching methods in modern education besides the traditional way that teacher and students have classes in the classroom face to face. Online education is not limited by time and space, therefore it has developed into the point target of modern education rapidly. The biggest advantage of online education is that it can realize the sharing of educational resources, so that people at different places, using different hardware devices can share educational resources. This enables sharing high quality educational resources between schools and provinces, and improves the overall quality of teaching level in our county. At present, there have emerged many mature products in the process of sharing educational resources, but still exists many problems, such as a lack of adequate online education resources construction standards, a small range of resources sharing, and retrieval difficulty.With the trends of sharing educational resources, paper designs and implements an educational resource sharing system, including 3 function modules, which are resource management,resource search and user management. Each function module is divided into several sub-modules, and all of them implement the function of educational resources sharing. Among the educational resources sharing technologies, Hadoop is a popular framework nowadays for distributed memory and parallel computing. When designs and implements the system, paper uses HDFS storage model to achieve store massive educational resources, using MapReduce parallel processing framework to generate the inverted index for full-text retrieval to achieve massive amounts of digital educational resources retrieval. In the realization of the entire system, the framework paper used is a current popular open-source web application framework--SSH integration framework, that is Struts, Spring and Hibernate framework sets, which make the application has a clear structure, good reusability and easy maintenance.Construction of digital educational resources sharing system has an important significance for education in our county. The shortage of high-quality education resources and uneven resources distribution problem go against the education development. Establishing an educational resource sharing system to achieve sharing high-quality educational resources between people, schools and provinces, not only can ease the shortage of educational resources and promote educational equity greatly, but also can improve resources use efficiency and education efficiency, so as to accelerate and improve the overall quality and level of education.
