Crowds simulation control technology is a key technology in the field of computer digital media, arose in the rapid development of computer technology at the end of 20 th century. Crowds simulation through related disciplines such as computer knowledge, content knowledge and design knowledge widely used in science, art, engineering, business, industry and other variety of fields. More and more industry will begin to apply crowds simulation technology to their work. For the city construction planning and provide a valuable reference for traffic safety, disaster can also through the simulation of panic crowds to formulate rational and effective methods of evacuation.This topic is based on the above research background, detailed analysis of the crowds simulation’s key technology. Based on the research of technology about crowds modeling, path planning and collision avoidance, we completed an indoor panic crowds simulation program. The main research as follows:1. Through the analysis of environment modeling and agent crowds simulation technology, to accomplish the system environment of geometric modeling, spatial modeling and perception model, the control model of crowds simulation. Besides, through detailed analysis of the social force model, to accomplish crowds modeling with social force. Based on the analysis of the social force model of various forces, implements a panic crowds simulation with social force model of entering the exciting force.2. Based on the analysis of the A star algorithm of path planning method, the algorithm of computing efficiency and forming path is closely related to the division of grid, on the basis of the implementation of a navigation based on triangle grid of A star algorithm to complete the global path planning, by dividing the triangle grid space, reduce the number of grid save storage resources, through the experiment results show that the calculation efficiency is higher, forming path more smooth.3. By means of analysis of the optimal reciprocal collision avoidance based on the reciprocal velocity obstacle, which was considering the agent of collision avoidance, the solution is to let each agent to assume half of collision avoidance, avoid collisions with each other. And it leads to algorithm is more rigid and unreasonable resource utilization. So we proposed the improvement method based on priority rules, each agent is determined by priority needs for collision avoidance, the high priority undertake the most task of collision avoidance and the low priority undertake the few task of collision avoidance, make the algorithm more intelligent, computing speed is faster.Based on the above three key research, we completed an indoor panic crowds simulation program, which could present the features of catastrophe crowds realistically.
