In recent years, China’s economy has been developing very fast. The technology improvement in communication, automation, electronics, and computer has played a crucial role in the updating and innovation of automation products. Since 2009, meter reading has been standardized. To meet the requirement of the overall construction of State Smart Power Grids, to ensure the smooth implementation of the construction work, and to achieve the goal of Full Coverage, Overall Collection, Complete Prepayment for the civil electricity information system construction, electricity information system is composed of background system of electricity information collection software, electricity information concentrator, collector, electricity meter, and wireless communication channel.This thesis “The Design and Implementation of Electricity Information Concentrator Software System” abides by Standards of Power Consumer Electricity Information Collection System(2009 Edition). Under this premise, it adds automatic search function to concentrator to support carrier wave’s auto-search of electricity meter from nodes. And according to the 2013 Edition of Standards of Power Consumer Electricity Information Collection System which is about to be publicized, this thesis rewrites the interactive process between communication modules.Most concentrators are developed based on ARM7 or ARM9 hardware platform. According to the cost effective principle, this thesis chooses 32 bit ARM7 kernel processor development platform, and the main task is to develop embedded software on this hardware platform. Real Time Operating System(RTOS) is adopted as operating system for its better performance in real-time, compared with embedded Linux System. Standard C Language is adopted as development language, while Keil uVision3 as development tool. Electricity Information Concentrator Software System not only conforms to new standards, but also improves a lot in standardization of carrier wave meter reading process, real-time performance of product operating system, product cost, etc. Therefore, the system has promising market prospect.The main tasks of this thesis include the development of RTOS development environment Layer, Yaffs file system layer, hardware driver layer, communication layer and software application layer to set up Keil.
