With the increasing modernization of military equipment and the widespread informatization of management means, the research methods of Web technology and database technology to management of military equipment are becoming widely used nowadays. Although many researchers have done a lot of work in this area, but most of them focus on the traditional centralized relational database system, and it is not suitable for the army which has some characteristics such as decentralized units and large data exchange, etc. In this thesis, the research and implementation of DEMIS is to find the appropriate query optimization algorithm in a distributed environment, in order to answer the problems and realize scientific management.This thesis proposes one solution and the technical route based on the research background, meanwhile it expatiates the requirement analysis, the system architecture, the UML design, the distributed database design, the query optimization algorithm, etc. So we can compile code based on Kruskal algorithm which deals with join query optimization. Using the tools of Visual Studio and SQL Server Database, the working elements of ASP.NET, C#, LINQ, and so on,the distributed equipment manage-ment information system based on.NET can be designed.
