Authentication protocol is one of the key technologies in the security issue of wireless sensor networks(WSN). μTESLA protocol can meet the feature and security requirements of WSN to a certain extent with the characteristic of delaying publishing secret key with one-way hash chain. But there exists some inadequacies in this protocol such as the limited length of hash chain and the low efficiency with fixed time interval to publish keys and so on. Therefore, this dissertation proposes a algorithm with delaying publishing secret key based on queuing theory and a novel self-renewal hash chain based on Benaloh-Leichter Secret Sharing Scheme(SRHC-BL SSS).Based on the research of wireless sensor networks in renewable hash chain and broadcast authentication protocol, the two points to be improved are as follows:(1) The proposed novel self-renewal hash chain based on SRHC-BL SSS separates the initial node of a new hash chain into several shadows and scatters them in the process of the consumption of the initial hash chain, finally, the receiver can recover the value with the shadows, and this process can be repeated to achieve the goal of reconstruction of hash chain.(2)According to the key publication with a fixed time interval in μTESLA protocol and the time interval cannot be dynamically changed in the network survival period, we put forward a broadcast authentication protocol based on queuing theory to construct a network traffic model, and to analyze the broadcast authentication protocol according to the flow condition in different periods, however, we publish keys according to the data traffic rather than fixed time interval in the network. Therefore, the proposed scheme extended lifetime of key chain, reduce the overhead of the whole network and base station, thus improving the efficiency of the whole network, and prolong the lifetime of the whole network.
