There has been a great interest in the realization of low-cost electronic applications such as RFID tags and flexible display. Printed electronics has become the most promising electronic product preparation technology due to its large area, flexible and low cost advantages. Ink-jet printing as a member of printed electronics technology has been widely used in the process of electronic devices,especially in organic field-effect transistors. Compared with the high complexity of inorganic silicon technology for high requirements and manufacturing process for preparing environment, ink-jet printing preparation of organic field effect transistors began to enter people’s field of vision and research.The main work of this thesis is preparation and optimization of the electrode layer(nano silver) and the semiconductor layer(Poly(3-hexylthiophene)) by Dimatix-3000. Then completes the field effect transistor preparation. At the first beginning, he prepares the nano silver electrode and Poly(3-hexylthiophene) layer in different shapes(point, line,area) on silicon wafer by changing the different dropspacing. Then he research the film forming condition of the nano silver electrode and Poly(3-hexylthiophene) semiconductor layer over the silica, slides, polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA), polyethylene terephthalate(PET) and Copper(II) phthalocyanine surface. It especially studies the preparation of the silver electrode and Poly(3-hexylthiophene) layer on the silica wafer and nitrocellulose membrane. He obtains the nano silver electrode layer without Coffee ring effect on silica surface. At the same time, he gets 158 ohms electrode on the nitrocellulose membrane. In the preparation of the field effect transistor,.he finds the number of the Poly(3-hexylthiophene) layer by ink-jet printing have a huge impact of the sharp in the channel of the device, thus affecting the performance of the transistor.Then he prepares the electrode layer and the semiconductor layer by ink-jet to compared the performance of the device that have coffee ring effect or not. It found the semiconductor layer in the device channel which have no Coffee ring effect arranged more orderly and improve the on-off ratio of the device nearly two orders of magnitude.Finally, he completes a flexible organic field effect transistor preparation by full solution process that have provided the necessary reference to the application of the field effect transistors such as biosensor and the detection of PH in the future.
