Study On Security Audit Technology And Its Applications In Optical Networks

Optical networks have been the most important information infrastructure for modern society.Traditional security threat and detection issues are limited to physical layer, which is lack of security threat detection and response techniques for logical and service layer. This thesis presents a comprehensive research on security audit technology in optical networks based on actual project implementation.A brief introduction of major threat in optical networks are presented firstly, followed are the necessity analysis for optical network security audit. Then the principles of network security audit are analyzed in detail including traffic abnormal audit, intrusion detection audit, content security audit, and behavior security audit, etc. Finally, a typical optical network audit scheme is proposed based on actual core network security audit project in Yunnan provincial office network.
