Because space density field can be used to describe the dynamic movement and distribution of the crowd, the research of crowd simulation under the navigation of space density field has become a new hotspot. A method of crowd simulation based space density field is proposed to generate macro results in line with the given density via the get-density field, path planning and collision avoidance algorithms and other aspects.The main work of this thesis as follows:1) Firstly, the crowd situation and spatial density field navigation algorithm are summarized, then the advantages and disadvantages of the current methods are analyzed and discussed.2) Secondly, path planning algorithm under the space density field is proposed. The individual agents in the scene will change and update their goals and velocity at anytime via the dual forces--the global and local target, while using RVO2 library for the collision avoidance.3) Thirdly, the way of obtaining the density field is studied. The generated method includes the general density function, interactive, etc. And also the Space Syntax is introduced to generate the density field accord with the characteristics of building space.4) Lastly, the system platform is implemented, the prototype system is conducted, and a number of experiments are carried on and analyzed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
