Design And Implementation Of Spam Short Message Recognizing System

As the number of mobile phone users and the rapid growth of Short Message Service, especially when short messages can originate from gateway to mobile phones,the overabundance spam messages has become a troubled problem for mobile service providers and mobile phone users. Spam messages include cheating information, false winning information, advertising information, pornography information and so on.Spam short messages have affected mobile phone users’ mood, life and work; to mobile service providers, spam also seriously affect the improvement of the quality of theirs services; cheat and illegal advertising messages have even violated laws and regulations.Therefore, urge to establish an efficient and reliable system to recognize spam messages.In this article, the main work is the design and implementation of a system to recognize the spam messages from gateway. Firstly, research the basic characteristics of spam messages, the traditional method to recognize spam messages, the characteristics of spam messages the network side; Secondly, combined with traditional keyword filter filtering methods, Use filtering characters, Chinese converting to Pinyin, string matching, the sum of value of keyword and adjustment according to the length, to design a relative precise and efficient system to recognize spam messages based on user interface and event-driven, according to end short interval, the very large volume,keywords which may be replaced with the alphabet or symbols homophone segmentation and other features spam messages gateway originated; Finally, use Visual Studio 2008 and SQL SERVER 2005 to implement debug and test the system. This system is used for mobile service providers, should be associated with the client information, such as the recipient number, the recipient’s black and white list, to the number of receiving numbers to filter on the sending number.To a message received by information center, this article filters out invalid characters, converts valid characters to Pinyin, matches the keyword and calculates the sum of value of all keyword which matched and then calculates the times allowed to send within every 24 hours according to the sum and the initial length of text.
