With the coming of information age, network technology has been widely involved in all walks of life, and information systems have become a national infrastructure. However, more and more security issues brought by the application of information systems is prominent, so how to ensure the security of information transfer and storage has become one of the hot field of information security research. Degree thesis regards Road Administration System(RAS) as background, and a one-time password(OTP) scheme based on chaos cryptography method is proposed. Its safety performance is much higher than the traditional user-name/password authentication.After analyzing the security mechanisms of RAS, a novel improved solution to the system authentication is suggested in terms of the status for RAS’s network threats and risks. This paper selects widely used and easy implemented OTP authentication mode through comparative analysis of current situation about few categories of authentication method. The using of the Soft Token way to generate OTP not only could avoid inherent defects caused by challenge/response mode, but also reduce the overhead. Because of the high demand for data security of the RAS needs, a chaotic hash function——the popular academic study of current encryption is used, taking it as the OTP’s core encryption algorithm. The paper also analyse and modifies chaotic hash function from several angles on performance statistics and anti-attack statistics while the encryption algorithm is constructed, making the safety performance to reach the ideal state.Experimental results show that the OTP scheme based on chaotic hash function encryption algorithm could prevent replay attack、pretend attack.Furthermore, the encryption algorithm is also very good to achieve the performance requirements of data encryption and could resist violent attack、statistical analysis attack etc. The authentication mechanism meets the needs of RAS’safe rank, and it also has broad prospects.
