With the widely application of mobile multimedia services and the fast development of new technology, Radio Resource Management becomes more and more important. It is significant to improve the utilization of Radio Resource Management and meet the Quality of Service among mixed services in condition of the scarce and consumed time domain, frequency domain and the airspace resources. LTE-A that proposed by 3 GPP has many features different from any other wireless communication system. Radio resource scheduling becomes more complicated because of the introduction of Carrier Aggregation which is the key technology of 4 Generation wireless communication system, which proposes a new challenge to the wireless resource scheduling algorithm of system.This paper introduces the topic background and research significance and describes the current research of CA and Radio resource scheduling in LTE-A system firstly. And talks about the three types of CA and four kinds of typical application scenarios in detail.Next, establishes the mathematic model of resource scheduling in CA system, which is a nonlinear integer programming problem that the complexity of the solution becomes very high with the increase of user, carrier and resource block. Finally, we get two scheduling structures which are called Joint Queue Scheduler and Disjoint Queue Scheduler based on the previous model. Then this paper will put forward two different algorithm according to the characteristics of the scheduling structure.This paper puts forward a carrier selection algorithm based on the utility matrix considering carrier frequency characteristics and load balance in disjoint queue scheduling structure. Next, we study system level simulation and set up a simulation platform for the application of CA scenarios. Simultaneously, the previous carrier selection algorithm is verified by this platform. The simulation result shows that the carrier selection algorithm based on the utility matrix can improve system throughput and user fairness. For joint queue scheduling structure, we firstly propose the resource block allocation method based on dynamic programming, and further puts forward the mixed service scheduling algorithm based on utility function depending on the establishment of utility function which is decided by traffic QoS. And the performancesimulation is analysed finally. The simulation result shows that this algorithm can max system utility sum under the precondition that the QoS of traffic is ensured.
