With the development of the era, satellite navigation technology constantly improves and progresses. GPS, BDS, Galileo and GLONASS are the world’s four navigation systems. Integrated navigation system has become an inevitable trend. This paper has set up a simulation platform for the Galileo software receiver. The key technologies of acquisition module, tracking module and decoding module have been carried on the theoretical analysis and simulation verification.First, Galileo official documents have been explained in detail, including the structure of E1 signal and E5 signal. E1 signal uses MBOC(6,1,1/11) modulation method and E5 a signal uses AltBOC(15, 10) modulation method. The main power of BPSK signal is in the main lobe, but the main power of BOC signal is in the two side lobes. Galileo system uses BOC modulation method to realize frequency spectrum remove. Secondly, in view of the BOC modulation modes of E1 signal and E5 signal, the key technologies of acquisition and tracking have been carried on the theoretical analysis and simulation. In order to suppress the side lobe, the acquisition and tracking of E1 signal adopt ASPe CT handling method. The acquisition and tracking of E5 signal adopt single side band signal processing approach. Then, this paper simply introduces the convolution code encoding. Galileo signals adopt the(2,1,6) convolutional code. This paper adopts the Viterbi decoding way of decoding. This paper did the simulation of Viterbi decoding. It verifies the convolution code encoding has certain error correction performance. Finally, frame processing and commonly used localization algorithm are introduced simply.
