Combining the radar with the communication equipment to be a comprehensive integration system is an inevitable trend with the development of the modern technology. It can solve the problems of the real-time coordination and the rational allocation of system resources on the combat platforms, to achieve the miniaturization, generalization and multifunctional of the equipment. The shared signal is an effective way to achieve multi-functional integration with a higher level, the keys of that are the design method of the integration shared signal, as well as the modulation/demodulation signal demodulation technology.MIMO(multiple input multiple output) communication can doubled the information capacity of the system without changing the bandwidth, and MIMO radar uses the work mode of wide beam transmitting and wide beam receiving, the low gain wide beam can cover a large range of airspace, and have a good performance of anti-interception and speed resolution. On account of the MIMO radar and the MIMO communication are very similar in a lot of key system parameters, to achieve the radar-communication integration based on the shared signal against the background of MIMO can combine the advantages of radar and communication together very well, and improve the resource utilization efficiency of the system. Radar-communication integration technology in the background of MIMO is studied in this paper, and the specific work content is as follows:(1) The working mode of the integration and the feasibility of radar-communication integration on the background of MIMO are analyzed, a system scheme based on Signal Sharing in the background of MIMO is given.(2) Combining with the requirements of information quantity, synchronization and decoding, the idea of orthogonal soft spread spectrum code is used in the design of the radar-communication integration signals, two viable schemes are proposed, and the methods of genetic algorithms and Wash function are employed to generate spread spectrum codes when coding the integration signals. For these two different design ideas, tow corresponding coding methods is given respectively.(3) In view of the integrated Shared signal design method in this paper, the incoherent signal demodulation method is employed to solve the problems of integration time synchronization, phase partial extraction and communication decoding, and the radar Doppler frequency extraction method is employed to achieve the extraction of the carrier frequency offset of the integration signal.(4) A set of double-bistatic MIMO radar hardware experiment is used to carry out the radar-communication integration experiment. According to the experimental requirements, the design of a PC interface is completed. Through the experiment, the effectiveness of the methods of designing and processing integration signals is verified. At the same time, a new idea of using the integrated shared signal is proposed to coordinate the Coordination work between the main and deputy stations of bistatic MIMO radar.
