Abstract/Summary:
Wireless network optimization has been developed for years, there is a certain process of optimization methods, but with the rapid development of technology, network systems have evolved from the early analog mode to the GSM further developing to the CDMA, WCDMA,TD and even future LTE.There are several different network optimization processing methods, this indicates that we need different optimization tools for different network problems., but so far no tool meets the requirement for all network standards, which places a greater burdens on staff who must master all the optimization tools. Testing is the foundation of the entire optimization, whether DT test or CQT tests are aimed to find the problems through data collection and analysis of existing network. If a system is able to integrate a variety of optimization and testing tools, it can significantly improve the cost and efficiency of the network.In this case, China Mobile Communications Corporation delegates China Mobile Group Design Institute Co., Ltd to develop the software named ADTP(Auto Drive Test Platform)platform, the operational of this platform marks the beginning of China Mobile network automation system.ADTP is China Mobile’s automatically test system, including B / S structure monitoring system and C / S structure optimized playback software. The test monitoring system includes ATU device manager, ATU test manager, real-time monitoring and alerting, data analysis, report presentation, and system security manager. The optimized playback software contains a GIS(Geographic Information System)analysis, data playback and network optimization reports and so on.The system is currently available for all kinds of systems such as GSM, TD, WCDMA, and CDMA-EVDO. Quality comparison test can be applied for internetwork, so it can be used in future 4G automatic test with upgraded in accordance to actual situation..The purpose of this research is to design GIS in ATDP system, including demonstrated functional modules analysis, drive test and blind spot monitoring mode.This thesis describes the previous optimization tools, making deeply research on optimization concepts and methods, details the GIS system and MAPX tools, presented demonstration of functional design. According to spatial and temporal data analysis features, combined with network optimization, GIS not only achieves the visualization of wireless network, and also locates network faults. Therefore, the accuracy of optimization system can be improved.
